All American Girl Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Amber hummed as she walked through the front doors of her home. After spending all day with her hyper active father she finally had to leave so she could go rest. She made her way to her bathroom and started a bath. While that was running she went to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee.  Moments later she was letting herself relax in a nice hot bath. She sighed in bliss as she started to drift off. But a knock on the window in the wall between her room and the bathroom made her look up. There she saw her cousin, Ottawa, standing in her room holding a McDonalds bag.  The Canadian girl walked into the bathroom and sat on the edge of the tub.

“So I hear you and Uncle Alfred had fun today.”

“Can I help you with something Madison?”

“I thought you might want dinner.”

The American smiled and nodded, and her cousin handed her a towel. She climbed out and dried off, then followed her cousin back into her room. Things like this happened quite often, often enough to be normal. The two would randomly show up at each other’s houses for no reason but to sit around hang out.  And if their similar looks weren’t enough to make them seem like sisters, their close knit relationship was. The two were closer than their fathers were, both pleasing and scaring the men.  Madison watched her cousin pull on her Old Glory patterned night pants and a blue sports bra before following her out to her living room.

“So how’s the brat doing?”

“Bryan? Oh he’s doing fine.”

“He still adore his ‘darling baby sister’?”

Amber laughed and grabbed the bag from her. “Not even a little!”

Madison smirked and plopped down on the couch. “So how’s everything been with you? You found a boyfriend yet?”

“Oh please. If I had then daddy would’ve killed him already.”

“Oh yeah I forgot Uncle Al isn’t as open as mom.”

“He wants me to stay his little girl.”

The Canadian smiled and picked up her cousin’s laptop from the coffee table. “Maybe you should try online dating.”

The younger city snorted and ate her burger. “Good luck with that one.”

“No seriously, I was on this site the other day and I met this hot Russian boy named Sasha. He’s totally cool, and he has an older brother~” she winked at her less adventurous cousin. “C’mon you know you wanna check it out.”

Amber sighed and took the laptop. After a ten minute sign-up procedure she was on the site, looking up the older brother. Of course when she saw him, she gasped.

“Dude he’s hot!”

“I know right?”

The girl looked over the boy’s profile, but grimaced when she saw his full name. “Madison, that’s Russia’s son!”

“Oh my god really?”

“Ivan Russievich Braginsky. Braginsky, as in Ivan Braginsky, RUSSIA. Dude please tell me you haven’t hooked up with Sasha yet.”

“Ah…”

“You did didn’t you?”

“Maaaaybeeee….”

Amber felt her palm connect with her forehead. “Dude!”

“Whaaaaat? I have a weakness for hot foreign guys!”

“Yeah I noticed!”

Madison smirked. “Well if it works out I can hook you up with Ivan.”

“Have you met my dad? You know how much he doesn’t trust Russia or anything to do with Russia!”

“How about a double date then? You can at least meet the guy.”

“Madison!”

The older city smiled innocently and propped her feet up. “Hey it’s true… Whoa look someone’s looking at your profile!”

Amber turned her attention back to her computer. Sure enough, there was a little message on her screen alerting her to a viewer. She hesitantly clicked on the message to see who it was and gasped.

“It’s him!”

Madison grinned. “He wants to meet you!”

The girl groaned and covered her eyes. “Oh god… Daddy’s gonna kill me!”

“Why? You haven’t done anything yet!”

“It’s that ‘yet’ that scares me…”
